Estée Lauder Global Innovation Center

Estée Lauder Global Innovation Center is located in Caohejing Science and Technology Oasis Park, Minhang District, Shanghai. The total investment exceeds 35 million US dollars, and will be occupied more than 200 R&D personnel.

The innovation center will take root in the local and truly realize ‘Intelligent manufacturing in China, benefiting the world’. After construction, the project plans to achieve both LEED and WELL platinum certification goals.

Story

A primary design guideline for the innovation center, is to create a sustainable and high-quality space environment that reflects the global brand feature of Estée Lauder . altPlus worked with the lead Design Consultants –Gensler -, the Ownership Group, and Contractors, from the concept stage to installation, to make this concept a reality.

Engineered Bamboo Solutions

altPlus provided the range of features that could be designed in engineered bamboo, thereby ensuring a story of sustainability, nature, and performance-in-design was consistently displayed throughout the statement project.

With Gensler’s lead, altPlus developed interior finishing’s including: public space, 5F multipurpose room, 5F VIP dining Room, 5F café and typical restroom.
